The PK Team is led by Rui Calado, kayaker for over 20 years.
• Kayak instructor since 1996 by the Spanish Canoeing Federation, giving courses of whitewater kayaking, white water safety, navigation and surfkayak;
• He works regularly as canyoning and rafting guide since 1996, being the founder of the first rafting company in Portugal - Raft'A'Ka;
• He paddled more then 120 different rivers in countries like Portugal, Spain, France, Italy, Slovenia, Morocco, Turkey, Nepal, Ecuador and Chile;
• Paddled for the first time most of the whitewater rivers in Portugal, wrote and published the only guide to the Portuguese whitewater rivers - Portugal Kayak;
• Worked as a Safety kayaker in Nepal and Turkey;
• Paddled all the Portuguese coast in Kayak self supported for 26 days;
• Is pionnering first descents on WW and touring with a SUP in Portugal;
• Runs the kayak store and kayak brand Watertech Kayaks.
